I have started this GoFundMe account for my sister, Sherry, and brother-in-law, Chris Lowe. Chris has been struggling with chronic kidney disease for the past several months and was blessed to have received a life-saving kidney transplant recently. As you can imagine, he and Sherry have a long road ahead of them as he recovers. This process has and will continue to be taxing, both emotionally and financially. They were hesitant to have such a fund created, but I reminded them of all the support they have given to others over the years and that it was okay to create such an opportunity for others. Their local community back in Monroe County has been very supportive with local opportunities to help out, but several people not living nearby have asked if there was a GoFundMe to offer support, so here it is! I am grateful for any support offered. Also, our family has a great deal of gratitude for the selfless and loving act of organ donors.
