Chris and Ross are driving an autorickshaw the length of INDIA! Completely unsupported and mostly without a plan! From the mighty Thar Desert in the north-west state of Rajasthan---traveling almost 2,000 miles (give or take) to Fort Kochi, in the tropical backwaters of Kerala at the Southern tip of India.
Apart from the adventure, we are helping raise funds for CoolEarth. THIS fundraiser is to pay for the entry, rickshaw rental, insurance, emergency medical extraction insurance, damage deposit, and mechanical costs associated with traversing the length of the country. We have a separate fundraising website raising funds directly for CoolEarth.
Now more than ever, rainforests, "the lungs of our planet," need our help. Since 2007, CoolEarth has provided funds directly and unconditionally to rainforest communities, helping to maintain forest loss rates below 1% in their partnerships in earthly places including Peru, Papua New Guinea and The Congo Basin. They have saved over 2.1 million acres of rainforest, planted over 380 million trees, and helped prevent the release of over 500 million tons of carbon into the atmosphere. With the donations they are entrusted with, they truly and efficiently are making a difference for the global health of all.
