Support Chris and Danielle's Recovery Journey

On Friday, October 18th, two members of the Hopewell Township Volunteer Fire Department were involved in a car accident while traveling to see family. In the vehicle were Lieutenant Christopher Perlak and his wife Danielle, along with their two dogs. They were stopped, waiting to turn, when they were rear-ended at approximately 60 mph. Chris and Danielle were both wearing seatbelts; however, the safety tensioner failed to secure them in their seats. They received medical treatment and were diagnosed with severe concussions, and Danielle received a shoulder injury as a result of the accident.

The injuries that they have sustained are going to require them to be off work for an extended period of time yet to be determined. With medical bills and other bills continuing to roll in, they are in need of as much help as they can receive, and every little bit will help.
