❤️With a very heavy heart, I am sharing the devastating story of the Miller/Smith Family.
On January 25th, 2020, Brooke Smith, loving wife, daughter, sister, friend and new mom (just days) stopped breathing unexpectedly while on the way to the hospital with her husband Chris. Skylar is Brooke and Chris’ first born. After complications with the pregnancy, Brooke passed away at age 34 only able to cherish being a new mother for 5 days. Brooke had given birth to Skylar just a week prior. She was premature, weighed 4lbs 11oz and has been in the NIC unit ever since. While Skylar is getting stronger every day, she is still unable to join her daddy at home.
This wasn’t supposed to happen. The Smith’s were married just two years ago on December 9, 2017 and were looking forward to raising Skylar together and starting their family. Now Chris is preparing for a life with Skylar as a single dad while keeping the memory of his sweet, beautiful, fun loving wife alive!
The funds raised will help ease the enormous financial burden that lies ahead for Chris, now a single father, caring for his newborn, Skylar.
All funds raised will go directly to Chris to care for his beautiful daughter.
