Last Friday, Chris Alessandro (my ex-husband, Charlotte's dad) suffered a heart attack. Just yesterday, on October 2, he underwent an emergency quintuple bypass surgery. Chris is currently recovering in the hospital, where he’ll likely remain for another week before beginning a long and challenging recovery at home. Chris is an engineer who has always worked hard to provide for his family. He will probably be out of work for a significant amount of time.
