I’m sharing this on behalf of my friend Chris. Chris’s roommate was deported by ICE over the weekend. In addition to the trauma of her friend’s disappearance, Chris is now responsible for his half of the rent, utilities, and other household expenses while she works on resolving her housing situation.

This event came as a huge shock, and Chris’s daily life and finances have been severely impacted. Chris has been through a lot over the last few years, and it’s vital that she’s able to continue to pay her rent. I wanted to share her story in case anyone’s able to offer help as she navigates the next few months.
