Support Chris After A Horrible Car Accident

On December 13th, 2024, my mother, her boyfriend, and my daughter were in a very horrible accident. The driver who caused the accident took off leaving people severely injured. My 7 year old daughter is okay. My mother is sore, but she’s okay. The one who is not okay, is Chris. My mother’s boyfriend. Due to the accident, he is being transferred immediately to St Luke’s in Milwaukee, wi. He has a subdural hematoma. His brain also shifted. This accident is not what we all needed. Especially Chris. Within the last few months he has lost both of his parents. He was already going through enough. On top of it all, my mother and Chris just bought the car that is now not salvageable at all. Thanks to the driver who caused this, we now have to put a pause on life and make sure Chris knows that he is strong and will pull out of this. My mother will be staying with him until she knows he will be okay. I never ask for help like this, but I really need everyone’s support right now. I want to make sure my mom and Chris are going to be well taken care of. Chris is such a wonderful, amazing, hard working man. He has such a kind soul and would give his shirt off his back to anyone in need. Right now, it needs to be vice versa. This man needs to know he has all the love and support from the community. Please if you can do anything, that would mean a lot to us. This is going to be a very rough road for a bit.

update 12/25/2024:

Chris was sent home just a few days after being admitted to st Luke’s in Milwaukee. He ended up back down at st Luke’s yesterday. His CT scan showed that he’s doing worse. He is now having surgery Friday 12/27/2024. He will most likely be in the hospital for quite some time. He has gotten told that he will no longer be able to work for awhile. He so far had a few strokes and lost all function of one of his hands. It’s going to be a VERY long recovery road for him.

“ he did not have any more strokes and the bleeding has stopped. It’s that his body is not soaking up the blood from the brain bleed like it should have so they need to go in and clean that out and put a temporary drain in.

The blood from the brain bleed is pushing on his brain, causing all of these other symptoms to get worse”.
