Chosen was found as a stray about a month ago and has been safe while waiting for her spay appointment. Today, during that visit, veterinarians discovered something shocking. Chosen has a bottlecap lodged inside her body.

This is a life threatening condition that requires immediate surgery. Her spay could not be performed because removing the bottlecap is now urgent. Without surgery, Chosen is at serious risk of infection, internal damage, and worse.

The cost of surgery is estimated to be between $1,500 and $3,500, which her caretaker cannot cover alone. Houston Pet Set has generously offered $500 toward her care, and we are incredibly grateful.

We are raising funds to cover the remaining cost so Chosen can get this critical surgery as soon as possible. Every dollar will go directly toward her emergency veterinary care and recovery.
