This is Chopper and he is just 6 years young. He belongs to a dear friend of mine, Susan Mack, who unexpectedly lost her husband. Chopper was his beloved boy and has been her rock since losing Steve. He suffers from chronic ear infections and will need surgery to have his eardrum removed. This is a costly surgery and one that she cannot afford due to having only one income. She has contemplated giving him up due to the lack of funds for his surgery. The thought of her losing Chopper after losing her husband is just heartbreaking.
