Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out to ask for help for our sweet dog, Cherry (Chonk).

Earlier this month, Chonk had to be rushed to the emergency vet twice after we discovered she had fluid in her lungs and was in congestive heart failure. Everything happened very fast and was incredibly scary. She had to spend the night in the ER so the vets could stabilize her and give her the care she urgently needed.

Chonk is only 11 years old and still has so much life left to live. Thanks to the amazing veterinary team, she is now home and feeling much better. With the medication and ongoing care she’s been prescribed, Chonk is expected to continue living a happy and comfortable life.

However, the emergency visits, overnight care, tests, and medications have added up quickly, and the costs are more than we were prepared for.
