This has been the hardest thing for me to share with our friends and family—what Chong and I have been going through. I never imagined I would have to ask for donations to support Chong as we fight against cancer. But first, I want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out and shown genuine concern for Chong.
As many of you know, Chong is an incredible person—an amazing husband to me and a loving father to our children, as well as a valued member of his community. It’s incredibly difficult to share that Chong has been diagnosed with sinus cancer.
On February 16, 2026, we went to the ER because Chong had been experiencing headaches and migraines for over six months. He also couldn't feel his right cheek, which was very concerning—so we went to rule out a stroke. Instead, they discovered a tumor near his cheek area. We had to wait all night for an MRI to determine what it was. The next morning, the ENT specialist told us it looked like cancer, approximately 7 centimeters in size, and it was about stage 4. My heart dropped, and my world was shattered by that news.
It’s been about two weeks since then, and I believe it’s time for us to share this with our friends and family—especially those who love and care for Chong. We never imagined this would be our reality.
At this time, we kindly ask for your understanding and space. Chong is still experiencing severe headaches and migraines, and he needs to rest as much as possible to help his body heal and fight. Your patience and support mean everything to us during this difficult journey.
I know many of you have questions, and we truly appreciate your concern. Please know that we are doing our best to focus on Chong’s recovery right now, and we will share more updates when we are able.
From the bottom of our hearts, we ask for your support during this time, as Chong is currently unable to work. Your kindness and assistance mean everything to us.
Thank you all for your love, prayers, and understanding.
