It is with deep sorrow that we share the tragic loss of beloved community member, dear son, father, and treasured friend, Chong Woo Kim.

On March 12, 2026, Chong Woo Kim was murdered in his family business, Dépanneur Fleur Bleue. This devastating and heartbreaking murder left his parents with an inconceivable future without him.

Kim was a loved and invaluable member of the Plateau-Mont Royal neighbourhood who has graciously given so much to his community. Now, it is time for the Montreal community to give back and help Chong Woo Kim's family.

Chong Woo Kim's family has suffered an unimaginable past 24 hours without him. We, neighbours of the Kim family, are raising funds to help alleviate the additional stressors the family will have to face at this time, and to help pay for the funeral.
