Chomper has been by my side for 15 wonderful years, filling my life with love, loyalty, and countless memories. Now, as he reaches the end of his journey, he is in a lot of pain and can no longer stand on his own. My heart is breaking as I face the reality of saying goodbye, but I want to make sure his final days are filled with comfort and dignity.

I recently went through this with Chomper’s brother at Faithful Friends, and I know how important it is to provide gentle, compassionate care at the end of life. The costs for this care are more than I can manage alone, especially as I hope to spend one last Christmas with Chomper before letting him go on Friday. Every moment with him is precious, and I want to honor him in the best way I can.
