Support Chloe's Dream of a Reliable Car

I am hoping to raise enough money to be able to purchase a used vehicle in good running condition for the daughter of an amazing friend of mine.

Chloe is 17 years old. When she was 15, she started a job, working at a local pizza restaurant, working as many hour she was allowed at her age. Over the course of the following year, she secretly put as much money as she could aside in order to purchase her own car when she obtained her drivers license. I say secretly because she lives in a home with her single mother and two younger sisters where money is tight. There were times she had to hold back, knowing her family would have to struggle, but reminded herself that having that car would be one less burden for her mother. Chloe is amazing teenager. It isn’t my place to give the details but she has had a large amount of hardships in her life and has pushed through them and stayed strong. I think any parent would be beyond proud to say she was their child.

Anyhow, when the time came for her to purchase the car, a woman who was believed to be a friend of the family offered her a deal she couldn’t refuse… $600 for a Dodge Neon in “almost perfect” running condition. Of course she trusted this “friend” and accepted the deal. That car didn’t stay running for long. One repair led to another and then to another and it was just too much to keep trying to fix everything that had gone wrong. But on top of it all, she was never given the title. Therefore she was never able to have it registered in her name also. Instead she was given a mountain of excuses which turned into ignored calls and complete avoidance by this “friend".

Come to find out, this "friend" never had the title to begin with. Chloe got stuck with this car that was beyond repair within her budget. All she had to show for her hard work.

The car has since been impounded as it was not registered and it was in violation of the apartment complex's rules. So now, she has no money.... no car....

if I had the money, I would buy her a car with not even a second thought in doing so. She deserves it.
