Chloe’ Marsai was just awarded a coveted spot to participate in the Atlanta University Center Art History and Curatorial Summer Program. She will study Art History of African and African American Art and collaborate with the High Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a fully funded month-long summer experience where room and board in a Spelman College dorm is provided. We are responsible for travel, dorm expenses, and other amenities needed.
As a single mom of 7 years, it has been a struggle to support two school-aged children. My son, DJ, is a junior at the University of North Texas, and I am supporting him as much as I can. I have had some financial challenges that I am still recovering from, such as a $6,500 transmission replacement and now other repairs that have to be completed in order to drive Chloe’ to Atlanta, GA to check her into her summer program.
Chloe’ has worked really hard creating soul-stirring art that keeps getting better every year with training and her determined dedication to her craft. I know she will be a world-renowned artist very soon.
So any support you can give to help us reach our goal of making sure Chloe’ has a great experience in her summer program would be greatly appreciated.
