Support Chloe Rai as she recovers from Emergency Surgery.

Hi everyone, this is Chloe Rai. As some of you know, my sweet girl has been through a lot this past week, but I’m grateful that God has spared us.
It all started last Friday when Chloe began vomiting shortly after breakfast. At first, I thought it was something minor, but it quickly turned into a nightmare. We went to the vet that afternoon for anti-nausea medication since she was still energetic and seemed otherwise fine. However, late Saturday night, things took a serious turn. Chloe slowed down significantly, hiding and whimpering in pain. I rushed her to the Emergency Vet, where she was admitted overnight for tests.
Despite extensive exams, scans, and blood work, everything appeared normal except for a small area in her bowel on the X-ray, which was assumed to be stool. The vets couldn’t pinpoint why she was so sick. Even with medication, Chloe continued to vomit, which alarmed everyone. The doctors recommended an emergency exploratory surgery, as they were running out of answers.
I transferred Chloe to my personal vet as soon as it became clear the surgery couldn’t wait. What started as an exploratory procedure ended up being a bowel resection, where they had to remove four inches of necrotic intestine due to something called Intestinal Intussusception. The veterinarian saved her life that morning.
Chloe’s recovery has been tough, leading to multiple emergency visits and follow-ups at both the Emergency Vet and our personal vet due to complications that weren’t fully addressed all at once. As you can imagine, this week has been overwhelming and heartbreaking. The vet bills are extremely expensive continue to add up, and I’ve been covering all expenses out of pocket without any insurance.
If you’re able and would like to help, any donation would mean the world to us and is deeply appreciated.
