Hello everyone, friends and family.
Support my exciting journey of studying abroad in Seoul South Korea!
For those who do not know me,
My name is Chloe Panter. I am currently a rising junior at UNCG (University of North Carolina Greensboro) as a Communication Studies Major, Minoring in International Global Asian Studies
Studying abroad in South Korea has always been a dream of mine ever since I was in elementary school. I would always beg my mother for me to go, now after years of waiting, learning and growing I finally have a chance to go and chase my dream.
Why South Korea?
I have always loved learning about other cultures growing up, but Korean culture has opened so many doors for me. It has inspired my academic journey, leading me to study the language and learning the beautiful history the country has to offer, as well as shaping the future I want to build.
From the vibrant city life to the peaceful mountains and beaches, South Korea has always been more than a destination, it’s a place where I’ve been working towards not as a tourist but as a student ready to grow and learn. This isn’t just an opportunity for me it’s about turning my lifelong dream into a reality.
Where will I Go/Costs
I will be studying at Ewha Woman’s University, one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea. I’ll be there for around 5 months and take around 12-15 credits focusing on communications and Korean society.
Why I need support
My mother who has always been my rock, She’s a single parent who’s helped me through college. But now I want to take the lead by funding this once in a life time opportunity for myself.
However, studying abroad comes with expenses, housing, tuition, meals and flights, transportation, and daily living expenses. That’s why I am reaching out and asking for your support.
If you are able to donate or share it would be greatly appreciated! Every little bit of support helps me get closer to my life long dream of mine!
Thank you so much for supporting me as your kindness and generosity mean everything!
