One of my tenants, Chira Childs, is the devoted mother of Jalayah Lamira Covington, a bright and beautiful 9-year-old girl who has been courageously battling Stage 4 Signet Ring Adenocarcinoma — a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Despite every effort, treatment, and prayer, the disease has progressed, and Jalayah is now in hospice care.
