Hi everyone,

I’m creating this fundraiser for my best friends dad chip and his family during one of the hardest times of their lives.

Two weeks ago, Chip was admitted to the ICU and has been on a ventilator ever since. What was already an incredibly frightening and emotional situation has become even more overwhelming as the days go on. Watching someone you love fight for their life is something no family is ever truly prepared for.

He recently retired, and with my best friend and her mom currently out of work to be by his side, there is no income coming in right now. The financial stress on top of the emotional toll has been devastating. Medical bills, household expenses, and everyday necessities are quickly adding up.

We are hoping to raise funds to help cover:

* Medical expenses and hospital bills

* essential living costs and utilities

* Any ongoing care he may need during recovery

This family has always been the kind to show up for others without hesitation. Now, they need us to show up for them.
