Help us save Chippy. He’s fighting for his life...
Chippy is only 9 weeks old. Just a baby. He was the runt of his litter, but full of life — playful, food-obsessed, Churu-loving, and endlessly sweet. He was doing well...until suddenly, everything changed.
On Friday night, 12/26, Chippy was found unresponsive. One moment he was a normal, happy kitten — the next, he was rushed for emergency care while we waited, terrified, to see if he would survive the night.
Chippy has already spent one night in the ICU, and while he has made tremendous progress, he remains critically unstable due to severe hypoglycemia. The veterinary team suspects congenital issues. Bloodwork showed no elevated white blood cell count, meaning this does not appear to be an infection. Even more confusing and heartbreaking — the rest of his littermates are thriving and completely healthy.
We are left with questions and fear, taking this fight hour by hour...
Chippy’s life started in a place of uncertainty. His mother snuck into someone’s basement to give birth. The homeowner stated she was “waiting until they were old enough to throw them back outside.” Chippy was never meant to survive in their eyes — but we saw a baby who deserved a chance.
Now, our once playful kitten is connected to monitors, fighting to stay alive. With many more ICU nights expected, the cost of his care is rising rapidly, and as a small rescue, we are struggling to keep up — but we refuse to give up on him.
We are asking for help — for Chippy.

Please help us give him the chance he was almost never given.
