NEW YEAR UPDATE:

A great big THANK YOU again to those who donated to help Chipper! Your care & concern were so meaningful & even though we didn't have enough to do the amputation, the funds gave us much needed help covering vet expenses for bandage changes, checkups, etc.

Since we haven't been able to fully raise funds, we are holding off on getting Chipper's amputation and seeing how well her leg can heal on it's own. Prayers greatly appreciated and we will update again if the need arises for more action.

Thank you so much to those who donated! Those funds have been extremely helpful in getting her weekly bandage changes done while we wait for what's needed for the amputation.

We're so grateful for a more affordable vet option and now we only need $1,200 more to get Chipper's much needed amputation done.

We are much closer to our goal now!

Our sweet little kitty, Chipper, needs help.

Unfortunately, she had an accident that broke her right back leg and will need surgery or amputation. This hurts my heart so much since Chipper is such a patient, affectionate, and expressive cat who loves parkour and the zoomies, and being outdoors, especially. It will be a challenging transition for all of us.

Amputation costs $3,300+, but surgery is $5,000+, which are both way above what we can afford. We need to decide (most likely amputation) in the next few days and set her appointment, but we can't move forward until we have enough to cover the cost.

Her cast is only a temporary solution since her little bones were shattered and won't heal without intervention. Waiting too long will increase the risk of infection.

Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated & be used to cover Chipper's medical expenses and care.
