As many of you know, near the beginning of August our friend, Chip Abbott, experienced an apartment fire in his building, which caused significant damage and the need for him to relocate to a temporary sublet. He has a move-in date at a new apartment set for Sept 2nd and has been trying to manage all on his own until now. We humbly ask his friends, family, and community for your financial support to help him make up what his security deposit and some refunded rent will not cover during this time of need. True to his nature, Chip has been very sincere about the fact that he doesn't want to ask for any more than he truly needs. He estimates that his expenses will total over $9,000, but doesn't wish to ask for any more than that amount at this time. We all know how Chip has influenced our lives at some point, and now is our opportunity to give back to him so that he can continue focusing on his move and replacing damaged belongings.
