The mission of The Los Angeles Trust for Children's Health (The L.A. Trust) is to bridge health and education to achieve student wellness. The L.A. Trust’s Oral Health Initiative has partnered with providers for over eight years to deliver free oral health education, screenings, and referrals to underserved children.

In celebration of National Children’s Dental Health Month, we are hosting our annual Tooth Fairy Event. The Tooth Fairy Event is an annual community education and disease prevention event spotlighting the importance of children’s oral health in a fun, lively atmosphere. This event takes place in conjunction with LAUSD’s Move It Health & Wellness Festival. Community partners host educational booths on oral health and related issues such as nicotine use and nutrition. Dentists and hygienists provide free oral health screenings and connect visitors to low-cost dental services in their community.

The L.A. Trust Tooth Fairy needs your help! Your gift allows us to continue our Oral Health Initiative throughout the year, provide oral health education, and facilitate dental screenings and referrals for LAUSD children.
