On November 2nd, I will be running in the New York City Marathon and raising money for the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation.

The Children's Brain Tumor Foundation is the world's leading nonprofit dedicated to improving the treatment, quality of life, and long-term outlook for children with brain and spinal cord tumors through research funding and family support. CBTF directly supports families navigating childhood brain tumor diagnoses with resources, education, and community connections.

I had the opportunity to create lasting relationships with families affected by the condition during years of volunteering at Camp Sunshine in Casco, Maine, and am so excited to run the marathon in support of the cause.
