I am Asmaa Alkilani, English teacher. As a Palestinian girl who has lived through war and witnessed its devastating effects, I speak to you from the heart. The children of Gaza have already been deprived of their right to education for more than three long years. Schools destroyed, classrooms empty, and dreams put on hold. But education is not a luxury — it is a lifeline.
War tears down buildings, but ignorance destroys generations. If we allow these children to grow up without education, the damage will not stop at Gaza’s borders. A generation lost to illiteracy and despair is a loss for all humanity.
Every child has the right to hold a book, to write their future with hope rather than fear. By supporting education in Gaza today, you are not only giving a child the chance to learn, you are protecting an entire community from the darkness of ignorance.
I call on you to stand with us. Help us keep the flame of knowledge alive in the hearts of Gaza’s children. Your contribution — no matter how small — is a seed of hope, a defense against despair, and a promise that the world has not abandoned them.
Together, we can make sure that pens are stronger than bombs, and that Gaza’s future generation grows up with wisdom, resilience, and the tools to rebuild their homeland.
Donate. Share. Support education. Protect the future of Palestine’s children.
Best Regards,
