Hello, this is my cat Chief. On 01/29/2026, he had to go into the emergency vet for a blocked urinary tract. This is a life-threatening emergency if not cared for within 24-48 hours.
If you know me and my boy, you know I love my cat very much, and he has gotten me through a lot of tough times in the past 2.5 years since I found him. He is a very loving and spunky boy, always willing to give head bumps and to be carried around.
Due to the severity of his condition, this also came with a lot of unexpected costs. Currently, I am faced with an enormous bill that was accepted in order to save Chief’s life. I have worked very hard to not be in debt yet, but as a college student only working part-time, I do not have the ability to pay his bill in full.
I am creating this account in hopes that I can at least get some of the funds to support my Chiefy Boy and the continuing care costs such as food that will come with his new dietary restrictions. All proceeds will go to his bill and care costs.
If you are able to help in any way, please do! Thank you to all of those that care for me and my Chief.
update 01/31/2026:
Chief is now back home and is feeling much better. He’s a little weirdly shaven from the IV’s and whatnot, and on his prescribed medication and diet.
More about Chief for those that are curious:
- I found him as a stray in July 2023
- He is registered as my ESA and lives with me as I attend college
- He loves to catch birds and mice at the farm during breaks from school
- He’s besties with our family dog, Stoeger
- He loves to play (he will play fetch with his favorite mouse)
- He uses those fancy buttons to communicate with me
- He is a big chonky cuddle bug
