Support Chief Robert Dauphinais - Chepachet FD

Donation protected
On the afternoon of July 7, 2019, Chepachet Fire Chief Robert Dauphinais and his wife Ericka were involved in a very serious motorcycle accident which left Chief Dauphinais critically injured. He was flown by helicopter to Boston Medical Center where he continues to be assessed and treated for a traumatic brain injury in the Surgical & Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit. Ericka, who is recovering from less serious injuries sustained in the accident, remains by his side.

Chief Dauphinais is receiving exceptional care from his medical team in Boston, but due to the seriousness of his brain injury, his family has been told the road to recovery will be a long one and that some of his treatment at this facility and subsequent medical care will fall outside of their medical coverage.

This fundraiser looks to help Chief Dauphinais and his family with the insurmountable medical expenses they will face in upcoming months. This is no doubt a life-changing event for them. Any contribution to this fund or sharing of this information will help the family tremendously during this difficult time.

With a long history of helping others in both the fire service and everyday life, Chief Dauphinais is a pillar within the local community. Many people are fortunate to be able to call him a friend.

The family extends their deepest appreciation for the continued outreach and support from friends, co-workers, the community and his brothers and sisters in the fire service and surrounding public safety agencies.
