Help Cheyenne, Tommy & Kenji Through a Medical Crisis
Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out on behalf of two amazing people, Cheyenne and Tommy, and their beloved dog Kenji, who are facing an overwhelming crisis.
Recently, Tommy was diagnosed with cancer — a life-altering moment that no one is ever truly prepared for. He and Cheyenne are navigating the emotional and physical toll, as well as the mounting medical and financial strain, while trying to stay strong for each other.
As if that weren’t enough, their dog Kenji now needs surgery. And Kenji isn’t just a pet — he’s family.
Kenji’s Story
Kenji’s journey is nothing short of incredible. He was found abandoned in a park in Georgia, inside a locked airline crate with import stickers still on it. He was only 3 months old, with cropped ears and an unregistered microchip. Despite being a rare and expensive breed, no one came forward to claim him.
Kenji was adopted out a few times but always returned — not because of behavior, but because of life circumstances like divorce. Then, in August of last year, Cheyenne adopted him.
Kenji has been Cheyenne's anchor, protector, and a constant source of comfort through the hardest year of her life. And now, just when Tommy is beginning his cancer fight, Kenji is fighting for his own life.
What We’re Raising Funds For
We’re trying to raise $5,000 to help cover:
Tommy’s cancer treatments and medical expenses
Travel and living costs while he undergoes care
Surgery and veterinary care for Kenji
Essential daily expenses that are quickly adding up
Cheyenne is doing everything she can — caring for Tommy, trying to keep Kenji healthy, and holding their lives together during this crisis.
How You Can Help
If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every little bit helps and means the world to this family. If you’re not in a position to give, sharing this page with your community is just as powerful.
Let’s come together for Cheyenne, Tommy, and Kenji — and show them they’re not alone in this fight.
With gratitude,
Rebecca
