Early Monday morning a devastating accident changed the life of my nieces husband, Chey Buckland.

Chey was driving to work at 6 am when an accident occurred. He exited his vehicle to check on the other person involved. When he got out of the vehicle another car crashed into his vehicle causing it to crash into him. He was thrown several feet and is in ICU in critical condition fighting for his life. Every hour is crucial and his road to recovery will be filled with physical pain and uncertainty. He has multiple injuries including a brain bleed, collapsed lungs, broken ribs, damage to kidney, spleen and other superficial injuries. He is currently on a ventilator due to blood accumulating in his chest cavity and has had to have blood transfusions.

Chey is a devoted husband to Alexis and father to a 3 year old son Wesley. He now faces overwhelming medical expenses, an extended hospital stay and recovery costs. He has a long road ahead of him. This fundraiser is to help support Chey and to take some of the financial burden off of him and his wife.
