Hello! We are Charlie Shotwell and Rex Harrison aka Chex! We are putting on a production of Spring Awakening this summer, produced, directed, choreographed, and performed entirely by students from art high schools across Los Angeles County.

This isn’t just a show—it’s our statement. Just as the story in Spring Awakening centers on teens fighting to make their voices heard, we are fighting to preserve art and make sure the youths of LA have the opportunity to create and perform on stage.

We need your help to make this show happen. Costs range from venue rental, performance rights, costumes, lighting, and set design, along with ensuring our cast, crew, and investors are fairly compensated.
