Hi everyone, most of you know my boy Chewbacca. I rescued him just after my 20th birthday, 7 years ago; he's been there for me through everything. But a few months ago, a lump formed on Chewie's side. It has rapidly grown, and it's been diagnosed as a Plasma Cell Tumor. It may or may not be cancerous as the findings were too inconclusive. But it is growing at a rate that it needs to be removed, it is now larger then a soccer ball on his ribs, and if it is cancerous, this will cure it as well. 2 days ago, Chewie started showing signs of discomfort and pain, which he hadn't the last few months. He will be having surgery ASAP. I've been quoted by a few vets and completely turned away by others. But this surgery will have to happen, it’s now a waiting game. My first quote was $4,000. My second was $8,000, and I'm not sure what the final number will be.

I would never ask for help for myself, but for my animals, I will do anything. I am going to pay for this surgery regardless, but anything you might be able to help contribute will be so so appreciated to lessen this burden on me and my other fur babies. All donations will be used directly towards his vet costs through this process.
