With the holidays right around the corner and our 4th baby due in January, our fur baby Chevy needing a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) surgery was not in the books for 2025. Unfortunately, about 2 weeks ago, Chevy tore his cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) in his left hind leg. We’re not entirely sure how it happened, but apparently, this is very common for medium to large breed dogs. His surgery is set for Monday, December 29, 2025. The estimated cost for the surgery, including 3 follow-up visits, is between $7,500-$9,500.
