If you know Chet, you know this was not his idea. In fact, he likely will not be incredibly pleased with me, but reality is…this is going to be an incredibly long road. Chet has spent years quietly showing up for others, helping neighbors, friends, coworkers, family, never asking for recognition and certainly never asking for help in return. That’s just who he is.

Again, with his recent accident, surgeries, and the possibility of looming ones, the road ahead is long. He will not be able to walk for at least 3 months, and doctors estimate an absolute minimum of 6 months before he can return to work. As you can imagine, that creates significant financial pressure on top of the physical recovery. So this is not about charity. It’s about community. Many of you have reached out asking how you can help and where to send money, this is where you can help Chet and his family.

This will be a hard pill for Chet to swallow. Hopefully he will understand that allowing others to step in during a hard season is part of life too. If you feel led to give, we are deeply grateful.
