Help Cheryl Fight Stage 4a Oral Cancer

In January, Cheryl received the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with stage 4a oral cancer. What she originally thought was a simple toothache turned into months of tests and appointments, finally leading to this difficult diagnosis.

Cheryl is a fighter, and while the road ahead will be challenging, she is ready to face it head-on with courage and determination. The first step of her journey will be an intense 10-hour “jaw in a day” surgery. This procedure will remove the cancerous tissue and surrounding bone and replace it with bone from her leg. Along with this, Cheryl will also undergo a "neck dissection" to remove any cancerous lymph nodes from her face, jaw, and neck. This major surgery will be followed by a 6+ week series of radiation treatment, all with the hope of defeating this cancer once and for all.

While Cheryl's strength is immeasurable, the financial burden of her treatment is overwhelming. Between the cost of surgery, radiation, and the extended recovery time, Cheryl and her family need our support now more than ever. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help her focus on healing instead of the financial stress.

Cheryl has always been there for others, offering her love, kindness, and support when needed. Now it's our turn to be there for her. Please consider donating to help cover medical expenses, daily living costs, and the other financial challenges she will face on her road to recovery. If you can't donate please share her gofundme page as a way to help!

We also ask for your thoughts and prayers as Cheryl fights this battle. Your support means the world to her, and together, we can make a difference.

Thank you for your generosity and kindness. Let’s help Cheryl in her fight against cancer.
