Hi all. Cheryl Tokke, dear wife, Mom, and Grama, is in Cancer Recovery. We had a recent diagnosis that it is affecting her bones and the ability to walk, so she is confined to a wheelchair. Therefore, we MUST complete making our home accessible for her. Through the very generous support of our friends, we have already raised $8,300 but we still need $5700 to complete the project. Work is already underway to complete a main doorway entrance ramp and doors, but we need to redo the walkway leading up to the ramp, and get a ramp for inside the house. We are doing all we can at our end to reconfigure things so she can live with us, and how we are going to manage her homecare along with the visiting nurse. Even Grandson James is chipping in by hi loving snuggling and encouragement to make sure "Grama feels better".

She is continuing to receive radiation and immunotherapy treatments with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the best in the world, and we are blessed by this being in New York City.

But we need more help.
