Hi everyone,
I’m creating this GoFundMe with a humble heart and deep faith in God, on behalf of Cherry, her husband, and their beautiful family.
Over the past months, their family has been walking through a valley they never expected. Cherry has been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, stage 2–3. Her treatment plan includes 24 rounds of chemotherapy, and doctors have also discussed the strong possibility of a mastectomy, which would require significant recovery time and keep her from working for several months.
Through all of this, Cherry and her husband have chosen to place God at the center of everything. They are doing their very best to keep life as normal as possible for their five children, leaning on prayer, faith, and trust in the Lord—believing that God is present even in the hardest moments.
As many of you know, this family is not one that asks for help lightly. They are hardworking, faithful, and deeply committed to caring for their family with dignity. They would not be asking now if there were any other way. But the reality of intensive chemotherapy, possible major surgery, and months of recovery means that Cherry and Carlos may be unable to work for a period of time, and the financial weight has become overwhelming.
Their greatest desire right now is simple:
to focus on healing, to be present for their children, and to walk this journey with peace without the constant fear of how they will keep their home during this season.
We are hoping to raise $30,000, which would help cover one year of their mortgage and provide stability while Cherry undergoes treatment and recovery. This support would allow them to rest in God’s timing and concentrate fully on what matters most: health, family, and faith.
If you feel the Lord placing it on your heart to give, please know that every contribution no matter the amount is a blessing. And if giving isn’t possible right now, your prayers, encouragement, and sharing of this page are just as powerful.
We trust that God is already at work, even here, through His people. Thank you for being part of this family’s support, and for helping carry them through this season with love, compassion, and faith.
With gratitude and hope in Him,
A friend who believes in God’s provision
