On June 1, our friends Cherry Poppins (Colin) and his partner were in a horrific car accident. While Cherry is now home from the hospital after having extensive facial reconstruction surgery, his partner remains in the hospital for a currently unknown amount of time recovering from brain trauma and leg and ankle surgery.

Neither of them will be able to work for the foreseeable future. Their savings have already been depleted by ongoing expenses. There will be expenses for food, OTC medical supplies, utilities, and Lyft rides to doctor's appointments. Even when Cherry is back on his feet, the lack of transportation will inhibit his ability to work.

Cherry's mom is also unable to work at this time due to the lack of transportation and the necessity for her to help them recover. So they have effectively lost three vital income streams at the same moment in time.
