Dearest community of Cheri Lynn Gann, Mama Cheri is in need of our support!

For those that don’t know, Cheri has been coping for over 4 years with a debilitating condition that gives her spells of extreme vertigo.

Her condition, called visual vestibular mismatch (VVM), has escalated and she is in need of treatment so that she can continue to function as the independent woman that she is. Cheri has been struggling with basic things like driving, working, and going to the grocery store.

She cannot feel secure on her own anymore because the spells of VVM are becoming more frequent and worse by the day....which is why we are reaching out to you.

The treatment for this condition is complex, costly and of course not covered by insurance.

She needs a full two weeks of immersive therapy and 18 more days of twice daily therapy after that. Luckily this treatment is available at the Northampton Vision Specialists. She will be receiving light and auditory treatment simultaneously while laying on a rotating bed designed to separate out the pieces of her brain and nervous system that are not communicating, and to slowly reharmonize these components.

Not only is it costly, but Cheri will be unable to work during treatment and cannot access any funds to cover her missing income from the time she must take to heal.

We are calling on Cheri’s community and extended family for support in this crucial moment.

Anyone who knows and loves Cheri (and there are many of us) knows that Cheri is there for those she loves, generous to a fault, hardworking, whip smart, funny, and an all around amazing gal.

Cheri is looking forward to returning to her life free of this major impairment that she has been coping with for so long, and can’t wait to see you all on the other side of this!
