We are reaching out to support an incredible woman, Cheri Happonen- a devoted single mom to her beloved children and a source of love and strength to everyone who knows her. Recently Cheri was diagnosed with Tongue cancer, a life altering diagnosis that requires immediate, extensive surgery and a long road to recovery.
The Fight Ahead:
Cheri’s treatment will include:
- Major surgery to remove the cancer that will require her to travel and stay in Toronto
- Reconstructive surgery to restore essential functions
- Intensive rehabilitation and therapy.
- Months of healing and follow up care.
As a single mother, Cheri’s children are her greatest priority. She has always worked tirelessly to provide them with love, stability and everything they need to thrive. This diagnosis has turned their lives upside down, and Cheri’s inability to work during her treatment and recovery has created an overwhelming financial burden for their family.
