Jose Juan Pena Suarez aka "Chepe"

Our beloved Chepe, was born in the state of Nayarit Mexico on November 19 th 1962, the first born son of a young a teenage mother. At the age of 15 he migrated to the city of Inglewood California with his little brother, to join his mother and grandmother and baby sister, who had came to the US a couple years prior to look for work and achieve the american dream.

His first Job was in Santa Monica Califorinia at a laminate Factory in the late 70's, but his passion was cars. He was of course a Mechanic 100% of the time and a classic car enthusiast.

Among other traits , He was the ultimate handyman. He was there for anyone in need. Always that ONE person you can always count on. Rain or shine, night or day. If you needed a lift, a jumpstart, or if your lights went out, he was there. Needed a last minute babysiter? He would tell us, "bring me the kids, I got 'em".

What ever it was, and who ever you were, he showed up. He did it all from the heart, and ever asked for anything in return.

Being the oldest of the Family, it was in his nature to care for and help all of us.

In March of 2024 our uncle Chepe unexpectedley became ill, and was placed on life support. Unfortunately he did not make it through and took his last breaths on the evening of April 17, 2024.

Leaving behind his entire family, his long time life partner, children, grandchildren, his beloved mother, a brother and sister, and many nieces and nephews.

At this time, we are asking for donations to help our family cover funeral expenses. Any donations towards helping us put our loved one to rest would be greatly appreciated.
