Our dear friend Araceli Navarro (Chely) has recently faced a sudden and serious health scare. On September 8th, 2024, without any warning, her heart rate surged to nearly 200 beats per minute and stayed dangerously high for over an hour and a half. She was rushed to the emergency room, where doctors had to take the drastic step of stopping her heart in order to reset it. After a tense wait, Chely's heart began beating normally again, and she was diagnosed with a condition called Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT).

SVT is a heart condition that involves an electrical misfire, causing rapid, erratic heart rates that can strike unexpectedly and last for extended periods. After consulting with a specialist, it became clear that the only effective treatment for Chely is surgery to correct this electrical issue. The procedure is scheduled for October 15th, and it is a crucial step to ensure her health and well-being.

Chely is someone who would do anything for anyone, often putting others’ needs before her own. Now, it's our turn to be there for her.
