Support Chelsea and Jesse's Journey to Happiness

My name is Chelsea and I am raising funds to get to my boyfriend, Jesse, in California and avoid homelessness.

For the majority of the last 22 years I have taken care of my disabled mother but we have reached a point in our lives where it is better for the both of us if we go our own ways. Her path takes her to Indiana, while mine takes me to California.

Jesse and I had plans to save up money so I could move there however life sometimes makes its own plans and the schedule has moved forward quicker than we were prepared for. As it currently stands I am less than a month away from being homeless.

However I do not wish to focus on the negatives but instead on Jesse, the man I have fallen in love with and wish to start my life with. He lives in California and is eager to bring me there but given the short time frame we were given to prepare it is nearly impossible for us to do it on our own.

So now I am here. I am very fortunate for I have a place to go and a man whom my heart calls home, I just need your help getting there. I wish nothing more than to get myself, my belongings, and my dog, Noodle, to California so I can finally prioritize my own happiness, and start my life with Jesse. Jesse is doing everything he can to get me there and I'm doing the same because we love each other and want to be together.

It is difficult to state just how much I love him and the impact he has had on me. For the first time in my life I am afraid of death for it means leaving him. So please help us so we may have a life full of love and happiness together.
