On May 30, 2025, Chelsea experienced the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her partner, Adam Lahr. Adam, the dynamic lead singer of THROATPUNCH and Chains of Kronos, was a talented artist whose work resonated deeply within the Atlanta community and beyond. His powerful voice, captivating stage presence, vibrant murals, and public art, especially his signature painted flowers, brought joy and beauty to countless lives. Adam was also a familiar face on local film sets, connecting with many through the IATSE union.
Adam and Chelsea shared an exceptionally strong bond; their unique style and deep connection were evident to all who knew them. They faced many challenges together, including periods of housing instability over the past two years. Despite daily struggles that tested their resilience, their dedication to each other and their two beloved dogs remained unwavering.
Now, in the wake of Adam's passing, Chelsea is navigating immense grief while also facing the immediate challenge of securing stable housing and meeting basic needs for herself and their two dogs.
Funds raised through this GoFundMe will provide crucial support for Chelsea to:
- Secure safe and stable housing.
- Cover essential living expenses, including food for herself and their two dogs.
- Navigate this incredibly difficult transition as she rebuilds her life.
Chelsea has also worked to honor Adam's legacy by showcasing his artwork which will be on display at an upcoming memorial concert at 529 in East Atlanta on July 6, 2025.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping Chelsea get back on her feet during this profoundly challenging time. Your support, whether through a financial contribution or by sharing recommendations for compassionate leasing agents/realtors experienced with unique housing situations and working with individuals following an eviction will make a profound difference. Adam will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
