A dear friend and fellow Registered Nurse,
Chelsea (Gilbert) Richie, a devoted wife, mother, and truly selfless beautiful soul, was recently scheduled for induction to welcome her third child into this world, a beautiful healthy baby girl!
However, complications arose during the delivery directly related to a genetic condition (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), these unexpected complications led to life threatening hemorrhaging and a serious condition called DIC. Chelsea nearly lost her life. She remains hospitalized and is facing a long and difficult recovery.
As a passionate and dedicated Emergency Room RN, she has been the primary breadwinner ever since her husband's disabling accident occurred last year.
At this point, it's clear that her recovery is going to be slow, and her time out of work will be far longer than anticipated.
Anyone acquainted with Chelsea knows how strong, caring, and generous she is — always the first to help others, both in her work and in her life.
Now, she and her family are the ones who need support. I am asking for donations to help ease the financial burden ahead, so she can focus on healing and being with her children. Your help means the world and is appreciated beyond measure.
