Hello, my name is Chef Victoria. I am raising funds for my business, Island Hop. Island Hop is a fusion Caribbean concept that highlights flavors from my Puerto Rican and Haitian culture. We also incorporate recipes from

Jamaica, Cuba, and Trinidad, giving our customers a unique and flavor-packed Caribbean experience.

I have been catering in Houston for 3 years. I was also a Special Education PreK Teacher, giving a foundation to students with Autism and Learning Disabilities. I have decided to leave my career and pursue my entrepreneurial dreams of restaurant ownership. I want to provide healthy, flavorful food alternatives for my community. I also give back to the community through feeding the homeless, volunteering my time, and giving to the less fortunate.

I have incurred some unforeseen expenses during the process of preparing the restaurant to be open. I am so close to opening and need help to raise capital to fix the grease trap for the plumbing system and put the signage on the building.
