Support Chef Tee's Recovery Journey

Hey everyone, my name is Taboria, also called Chef Tee. I am a full-time entrepreneur here in Memphis, TN. My catering service is named Royal Eats 901. I specialize in luxury catering and elegant 3-course private dinners.

Why am I creating a GoFundMe account, you may ask? On Friday, February 28, 2025, while providing a private birthday dinner, I was involved in a fire pit explosion. I now have 3rd-degree burns on my right side that cover my full arm, back, and upper abdomen. The burns are so severe that I have to undergo two surgeries and spend two to three weeks in an ICU burn unit. Recovery time is between five to six months.

I knew being a full-time entrepreneur comes with risks; however, I never expected this. I had to cancel and refund five upcoming events due to my condition because I’m a one-man team. After ten failed corporate jobs, I’ve finally found my passion and purpose in life, and now this.

However, I trust in God that He will never forsake the righteous. I’m so grateful to be alive today because it could’ve been worse. I’m not asking for the world; however, anything can help.
