The American Natural Foods in Boulder, CO, is raising money to finance plant-based (vegan) Chef Ron Pickarski to compete in the Global Chefs Challenge in the vegan category in Las Vegas in July 2025. The winner will represent the USA in the 2026 WACS Global Chef Challenge in Wales (Europe) for the title of Vegan world chef champion.

In 1996, the ANF team won the gold in the first ever vegetarian category in the International Culinary Olympics.
