Life has not always been easy, but cooking has always been my passion. Inspired by my dad and grandma, I started young, and wrestling gave me the discipline to push through challenges. I became a 3x state champion at Omaha North and a national champion in college. Those lessons in hard work shaped me and built the character I rely on today.
I worked many years at Leavenworth Café, where I learned patience and gained the vision to start my own business. In May 2025, I quit my job at the county to take a leap of faith to cook full time. Since then, I have been doing everything on my own. Life has tested me, but I am determined to make this dream a reality.
This past July, I offered Omaha Police “Lt. Dan” a plate of food while he was patrolling nearby. That small act sparked a friendship and showed me how food can break down barriers and bring people together. It reminded me why I love doing this: food has the power to unite us, no matter our background.
I have put everything I have into this dream, but I need help to take the next step. A food truck costs $8,000, and I have already saved half. With your support, I can reach my goal, expand Omaha’s food options, and provide for my family while giving back to the community.
Food is not just a meal to me. It is a way to connect, to heal, and to inspire. Your support would mean the world and would help me turn years of struggle, sacrifice, and hard work into something lasting.
