Support Chef Dustie Through Recovery After a Serious Fall

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I never imagined I’d be in this position, but after suffering a debilitating fall in December, my life has changed drastically. I sustained multiple bulging and herniated discs, causing severe pain and mobility issues. Since then, I’ve seen several doctors and specialists, and I’ve been referred to a neurosurgeon and the U of M Spine Institute for further evaluation and treatment.

This injury has left me unable to work, and while I am navigating the complex process of insurance claims and legal matters, I have had no income for months. In the meantime, my expenses are piling up—I had to rent a handicap accessible place, utilities, food, medical co-pays, a handicap-friendly vehicle, and in-home aid to help with daily tasks. These essentials are quickly becoming overwhelming, and I humbly ask for any support you can provide.
