Support Chef Don's Recovery Journey

2025 started off very rough for our good friend and Chef Don Lopez. After experiencing severe abdominal pain Don went to the emergency room and was ultimately diagnosed with Diverticulitis. The following 6 weeks brought constant pain and struggle as Don went through surgery and multiple weeks of recovery. His second and hopefully final surgery will take place in a few short weeks. This campaign has been set up to raise money for him and his family during these tough months where Don is out of work for an extended amount of time. Even with insurance, surgeries and recovery care can be very expensive. We're asking for help from anyone who is able to contribute. Every little bit helps and no amount is too small. These funds will go towards medical bills and any other burdens the family has dealt with while Don is out of work and ultimately confined to minimal movement during his recovery. Don lives a very active lifestyle, consistently going to the rec center most days as well as being a husband, father, Chef and partner of a local restaurant. Health issues are always scary but the mere fact that he is unable to work out or even move around also takes a mental toll. Add to that the extra stress of mounting medical bills and anyone would be in a rough spot.
